Good evening, this is representative Watanabe.
How are you doing?
Usually in this time, we provide you with coffee at Gaigosai (School Festival)...
We are so sorry that we are not possible to see you directly this year.
……However!!!!This blog is not about something sad.
We inform you of Online Gaigosai (School Festival),
which is to start from tomorrow^^
Each year in November we have Gaigosai and this time it is going to be held online.
Of course, we also join!!
For our project, we interviewed representative of KOPAKAMA Cooperative and made a video!
drying beans in the parchment process
(provider : KOPAKAMA Cooperative)
KOPAKAMA is an association, to which a women’s producer group named Ejo Heza producing our coffee beans belongs.
Actually, KOPAKAMA produces, refines and exports our coffee beans!
This time, we did an interview with Kayitare Gervais, the representative of KOPAKAMA. He has been engaged in coffee production for 20 years and has experienced joys and sorrows with the cooperative.
(In the video, we'll explain what they are doing in this picture!)
A cup of coffee enjoying every morning without any reason. Or a special cup which is essential when taking a break.
Who grows that coffee beans and how is it processed? How does it come by our side? Which kind of people are engaged in and about what are they particular...? Which kind of effort are there actually?
We also learned a lot through this project.
This year we can't talk face to face, but when our project helps you to think and feel how we connected through coffee (with you reading this blog right now, us Femme Café, KOPAKAMA…), it couldn't be happier for us.
Gaigosai official HP is Here!!
